Welcome to Sarahs Private Dog Sanctuary
Today I am speaking not only as the founder of my sanctuary, but as someone whose own dogs have disappeared.
Twenty-one dogs are now missing from the municipal shelter, including two dogs from my own sanctuary. They were there, and now they are gone. We deserve answers, and so do they.
Many people have asked why I haven't posted more about what has been happening inside the municipal (Belediye) section of the shelter. The truth is that I have previously been threatened and warned not to speak publicly about the problems and what goes on there. For a long time, I stayed quiet because I feared the consequences.
I cannot stay silent any longer.
I am calling for a full, independent investigation. All CCTV footage, entry and exit records, veterinary records, transfer records and any other evidence must be secured immediately before anything can disappear.
This is not about politics. It is about accountability, transparency, and finding out what happened to these dogs.
They deserve the truth. We deserve the truth.
